Halkidiki is situated in the north of Greece, on the map looks like three fingers. They are three famous Greek peninsulas, located near the city of Thessaloniki. Of the three peninsulas, Cassandra, Sithonia and M. Athos, the last is independent state, which belongs to the Greek Orthodox Church. Interestingly, the entry to the M. The Greek idea of cooking is more a social than a culinary experience. It is simple cooking, which is in harmony with the climate. This does not mean that food is not good. They love fish baked on carbon or horiatiki salad (mixed salad, which is swimming in olive oil with feta cheese and black olives). The main meal in Greece is the midday meal. Most prepared dishes that are baked in the oven already that morning. At evening, however, it only served still warm and limp.
A typical Greek meal is made up of starters and main dishes of the attachments. Usually, the restaurant does not get desert other than fresh fruit or yogurt.
