Karpathos is a beautiful mountainous, the most southern Greek island, with longest summer. Lovers of surfing and kiting here will find an ideal place, where does not run out of wind for their pleasures. In many of the bays are beautiful beaches which call for enjoyment.
Short description
Island Karpathos is across the length of its mountainous and many places are difficult to access. Rich is the newer Greek culture, especially the village of Olympos. Residue from the Greek antiquity is not much, just here and there a small shrine.

Many beautiful beaches on the south side of the island, which are accessible only by boat.

The island is beautiful and interesting, otherwise, some places are more difficult to access.
To view the village of Olympos chooses rather the organized trip, as the independent visit by car.
Anyone who is a lover of good food must visit a restaurant under the oak on the north coast of the island. In the city Pigadia (Karpatos) has some very good restaurants.
View the church in a cave in the north of the island is a laborious undertaking, which does not leave a large impression, with the exception of fatigue after strenuous walking.
I recommend at least one boat trip to the beautiful beaches, which are accessible only by sea.
